Choosing a wedding photographer is a very important task and not made easy with all the choice available and I try to be as upfront as possible to let you know exactly what to expect when you hire me.
I am a Cork based documentary wedding photographer who will travel throughout Ireland to capture your special day in a unique way. Here at Advocate Photography we offer more of a reportage style approach to take unforgettable images of your wedding day. My approach is straight forward. Turn up on your wedding day and take photo’s of what is happening rather than doing set up shots.
If posing is not for you then we might be a good match because I am not a big fan of it either. Does that mean there will be no posed shots? No. There will be posing done for the family formals and an odd few throughout the day but I like to keep that to a minimum.
I try to be as unobtrusive as I can but still get close enough to capture the all the emotions of the day. I will fit into the background and take images of what is going on rather than rely on set up shots.
My goal is to give you images that retain their strength and impact over the years regardless of whether you are having a wedding with a small number of guests or a big wedding. My approach on the day will be exactly the same, relaxed and informal with a big emphasis on candid using as much natural light as possible.
