Description
My name is Colin. I am from a small village called Glaslough in the county of Monaghan in Ireland. I was always into art from as far as can remember and much of my younger days were spent drawing and painting. In recent later years, I was very much into drumming and playing with local bands.
I always liked taking pictures. I began to see my images as not just a pretty picture and to see my photography as a way of showing emotion and elation through my own artistic vision. I love the look of old film stock and even though I use Professional Canon cameras I love to edit my work as though it was captured on film.
My style of photography is to capture things that happen in a natural way and document everything throughout the wedding day. If you're looking for the photographer that will pose people and do the cliche things, that's not me. I love the outdoors and will always try for outdoor portraits (try to find the closest forest).
I'm a sucker for forests and mountains !!! So often we don't realize the value of a moment until it has passed. And that to me is why photographs are so important, they remind us of things we otherwise have forgotten or taken for granted.

My name is Colin. I'm from the small but beautiful village of Glaslough in Co. Monaghan. Photography is what I do!. I was always interested in art and cameras from as far back as I can remember and many of my younger days were spent drawing, painting and taking pictures with old film cameras. In recent years I became more interested in photography so I decided to further develop my talent. I began to see my images as something more than a pretty picture but as a way of showing emotion and elation through my own artistic vision. I really like the unique look of old film stock and even though I use professional Canon cameras I love to edit my work as though it was captured on film. My style of photography is to capture things that happen in a natural relaxed way and document everything throughout your wedding day. If you are looking for the traditional wedding photographer, that wouldn’t be my photography style. I love the outdoors and I will always try to capture outdoor portraits (I will try to find the closest forest or similar location). Very often we don’t realise the value of a moment until it has passed. And that to me, is why photographs are so important. They remind us of things we otherwise have forgotten or taken for granted. I like to let the day flow and capture everything from a candid point of view and in a non-intrusive kind of way. I always like the portrait images to be as relaxed as possible. I believe that this environment creates the best images. I hope this helps and if you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me. Please check out my website and Facebook page all the time as I will be updating it with images and it will give you an idea of my style.

Colin was our photographer for our wedding on the 9th of March. From the minute he arrived he put us all at ease and fit right in with all involved. He was very obliging and took all the photos that we asked for. We even received a handful of images within a few days and they're fantastic. Looking forward to seeing the rest. Thank you very much Colin from Michelle and Brian

We booked Colin for our wedding Day in July 2018 after seeing the photos he took from Amy & Darach's wedding in March 2017. Our wedding was in Coolbawn Quay in Tipperary so it was a bit of a trek for him, but from booking him right through to our wedding day, Colin was so enthusiastic about going somewhere new and being there on the day. He travelled all the way down to the venue weeks before the event (a 3 hour trip for him!) just to get to know the areas and blew us away with his energy and PASSION for his job, even before taking a photograph. For any brides or grooms who are uncomfortable with the idea of a photographer, Colin will just blend in with the family - he puts everyone at ease and is just good craic. For anyone who has already booked Colin - my advice would be to trust him with your dress, trust him with your precious time on your big day, be adventurous and you will reap the rewards when you see the amazing moments he captures. You are in safe and creative hands.

Colin was a pleasure to work with right from the beginning. He has excellent attention to detail & captured the many laughs, smiles and love shared between us and our family & friends on the big day.
Colin has the ability to put everyone at ease and allows the day to unfold..caputuring special moments in a very natural way
We had the best day of our lives 31/8/18 and Colin was one of many suppliers that made it happen. He created a relaxed atmosphere, nothing was a problem from making mammy tea to taking a car load of stuff to darver to decorate it for me as well as taking the most special pictures we will always have to treasure. Tip to all the future brides and grooms do the pre wedding photo shoot helps prepare you for the day. Thanks again Colin

We chose Colin because of his unique style and his creative shots and boy did we hit the jackpot! He is so fun to work with, he really puts you at ease and from the get go he does an amazing job.
Really enjoyed his creativity and the different shots we got to experiment with. You can tell he truly does this with a passion and it shows in his work. Also he's got a golden personality and his shoots are such good criac, we couldn't wait to have him take our photos for our wedding.
10/10 would definitely recommend to everyone!

We were absolutely thrilled with our photographs Colin captured of our special day on 22.12.18. From start to finish, Colin was super to work with. He had us laughing throughout our pictures and made everything so relaxed. If you’d like Wedding pictures that are unique and modern Colin is the man to choose! You certainly won’t be disappointed.

Colin was extremely professional and excellent at his work. We were apprehensive about being photographed all day , but we met with Colin for a pre shoot and he put us completely at ease. He made the whole process so easy. On our wedding day Colin was a real gem , he captured wonderful images that are lovely and natural. We didn’t even realize they were taken. We would highly recommend Colin his work is a work of art and he is so easy to get along with, he was a pleasure to work with. Thank you.

We choose Colin because we loved his natural style of photos! His sense of humour set us at ease instantly and he blended into the wedding party and captured priceless moments of our friends and family!! We followed his lead and achieved some really quirky shots which we love
We asked Colin to be our photographer for our wedding in February 2019.
Colin was amazing, he went out of his way to find a place on route to the reception to take some photos, he was so professional on the day, making myself and David completely relaxed and just a really nice down to earth guy! (kinda want to be his friend)
We were sent a sneak peek of our photographs a week after the wedding and were so so impressed!!!
Myself and David can't thank you enough!

There is no doubt Colin is one of the most talented photographers there is! He was so easy to deal with from the minute we booked him, took all suggestions on board and had some great ideas of his own. He kept in contact coming up to the wedding and on the day itself he arrived bang on time! You wouldn’t even notice him in the house he done his own thing and captured every detail big and small.. We knew he captured some great shots but to say we were blown away with the photos is an understatement. The whole day from start to finish has been photographed and the attention to detail is out of this world.. Would highly recommend to anyone! Thanks Colin!
