I play an eclectic mix of well known pieces to put everyone in a good mood and I'm equally at ease playing requests and interacting with the wedding guests as I am blending into the background to provide a non-intrusive backdrop.

Description
Joe Kenny is a versatile pianist with 15 years of live performing experience at hundreds of weddings and events.
Gaining his Bachelors degree in Music from the esteemed Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts, he has played piano at hundreds of Weddings, Drinks Receptions, Corporate Functions, Anniversary Dinners, and Charity events all over Ireland & UK, Singapore, Spain and Norway. These days he regularly plays piano at weddings and events in Dublin, Meath, Louth, Monaghan and Cavan and Northern Ireland.
Joe enjoys performing a large and eclectic repertoire of piano arrangements comprising Modern, Pop, Classical, 70s, 80s, 90s, Blues, Jazz and Film Music and has developed through experience the intuition to know what music will create the right ambience for your wedding day or special event.
Clients have ranged from The Liverpool Echo Arena, Orix Aviation, The London Carriageworks, The Kings Inns, Virginia Park Lodge, Crowne Plaza, Pizza Express, The Living Rooms to name but a few.

Joe is an accomplished and versatile pianist with over 15 years of experience playing at ceremonies, weddings, drinks receptions, dinners and corporate events. He is equally adept playing contemporary songs from the charts along with classical repertoire tailoring his performances to the preference of each client. Joe studied music at the widely renowned Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts receiving a Bachelor of Arts and has played music professionally all over the UK and Ireland, Singapore, Spain and Norway.

We had the great pleasure of having Joe play at our recent wedding in Ghan House, Carlingford. At every stage in our dealings with him, from early inquiries through to the day itself, he went above and beyond to help us with our music choices. He learned new songs which we asked if he could play and even took a request or two from our guests. He brought his own keyboard to play downstairs during the ceremony, which he quickly moved without fuss to a different room for the reception. He then switched to playing the grand piano upstairs in Ghan House during dinner. Joe is a talented, versatile, professional and genuinely nice guy. We highly recommend him to anyone planning a big event in their lives, whether it’s a wedding or party. He will add a special touch.

Having Joe play during our ceremony was one of the best decisions we made. We booked him at the last minute and he went out of his way to accomodate our wishes and even learned a new song ,since we had our heart set on it, with very little time to spare. We lucked out hearing him at a wedding fair about 3 weeks before our big day and booked him on the spot! Our solemniser, who performs up to 5 weddings a week, told us that Joe was the best piano player she had ever heard. He was a real pleasure to have around, a gentleman through and through, and we highly recommend hiring him to make your day that bit more special.
