We booked Colin for our wedding on 8th of June 2019 in Tinakilly Country House. We had received a recommendation from a friend. He was just amazing! After meeting him at our pre-wedding shoot we felt very much at ease. On the morning of our wedding day he blended in seamlessly and got so many fabulous shots. He is great fun too, full of the chat and makes you feel very relaxed. He really listened to what we had asked for and got shots of all the people we had wanted him to capture. We are so delighted with our photos! He was very quick to send us the link to the photos after the big day. Colin really knows his stuff and has a great eye. The photos are so natural and we can’t wait to get some of them printed and framed. We highly recommend Colin!

My name is Colin. I'm from the small but beautiful village of Glaslough in Co. Monaghan. Photography is what I do!. I was always interested in art and cameras from as far back as I can remember and many of my younger days were spent drawing, painting and taking pictures with old film cameras. In recent years I became more interested in photography so I decided to further develop my talent. I began to see my images as something more than a pretty picture but as a way of showing emotion and elation through my own artistic vision. I really like the unique look of old film stock and even though I use professional Canon cameras I love to edit my work as though it was captured on film. My style of photography is to capture things that happen in a natural relaxed way and document everything throughout your wedding day. If you are looking for the traditional wedding photographer, that wouldn’t be my photography style. I love the outdoors and I will always try to capture outdoor portraits (I will try to find the closest forest or similar location). Very often we don’t realise the value of a moment until it has passed. And that to me, is why photographs are so important. They remind us of things we otherwise have forgotten or taken for granted. I like to let the day flow and capture everything from a candid point of view and in a non-intrusive kind of way. I always like the portrait images to be as relaxed as possible. We found Colin at a Quirky Wedding Fair after a long search for a photographer. We were struggling to find someone offering more relaxed photography as we are not 'posing for photos' people but we loved his work and knew from that first meeting that he was who we were looking for! A super relaxed guy and his shots are so amazing, I'm struck every time I see them
âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸ We booked Colin for our wedding day on 6/9/19 in Crover House Hotel. He was as a delight to deal with prior to the day and especially on the day. Colin made us all feel at ease with his quick wit and sense of humour during the wedding prep that morning in the Hotel. His subtlety to get photos was exceptional and I only realised this when he sent us the link. He caught so much laughter and happiness throughout the day. We were lucky enough to have booked Colin as our photographer on the 2nd of November 2019. Colin is amazing at his job, he is so relaxed and made the morning of our wedding so stress free and enjoyable. Along with being an excellent photographer he’s a lovely person, and had everyone laughing with his humour, I was beyond happy with the photos Colin sent us (he sent us 20 photos three days after the wedding which is amazing service) Overall I couldn’t recommend Colin enough, we feel really lucky to have him capturing our special day.
